SALMON is often regarded as the king of fish. Firm, large-flaking pink flesh has a distinctive taste, reminiscent of the sea without tasting “fishy.” Salmon is highly versatile: skinned, stuffed whole and decorated for a party; broiled simply with lemon and butter; baked with a wide variety of vegetables; and providing a perfect foil for fruits, nuts, and Asian seasonings. Our salmon is farm-raised on the coast of Chile, in cold Pacific waters. Salmon skin and bones make excellent additions to homemade fish stock for soups and other fish dishes. Priced per pound.
